Jesse Locks, Owner
With twenty-years of experience as a media communications professional, Jesse Locks is at home working in publishing, film, radio and digital media. Her journalism-heavy background helped establish her as a creative force while writing for sports publications such as Thrasher, Heckler, and ESPN. She later went on to work for the Seattle Weekly and Arthur Magazine.
In 2006, she founded Locks Media Group, a marketing firm serving arts organizations, NGO’s, and social good brands. Best known for creating dynamic and imaginative campaigns, Jesse’s expertise lies in distilling broad content down to a distinct message that is delivered in an authentic and compelling manner to specific audiences using strategic media platforms.
In 2010, she became the Festival Director of the Nevada City Film Festival which has been dubbed the “Sundance of the Sierra”.
She also founded the Folk Trails Hiking Club, which leads free monthly history hikes in her home town of Nevada City, CA.
